Dr. Yechiel Shabi

Dr. Yechiel Shabi, a Middle-Eastern Studies specialist. He possesses an M.B.A and a Ph.D in Interdisciplinary Israeli studies from Bar – Ilan University.

The subject of his dissertation," The Land and Islamic sacred assets as a major part of the national struggle in the Israeli - Palestinian conflict" deals with the Israeli Arabs radicalization in relation to their Arab nationality and the Muslim religion, the strengthening of their separatism and the deterioration of their sense of being part and identifying with the state.

Dr. Shabi is the Spokesman of the Ministry of Communications and in charge of public relations.

He is a Consultant and speaker on topics such as Islam, the Israeli- Arab conflict and media subjects.

He is an expert in the conflict, advising numerous institutions, such as the Supervision Coordination Department of the Prime Minister’s office, the Israel Police, the Municipality of Beer-Sheba, the Green Police and others.

He has written numerous op-ed articles in the, "Written & Electronics", is a lecturer in Media studies in the educational unit of Bar-Ilan University in Israel, and some of the academic branches of other universities in Israel and abroad.
